Monkey See, Monkey Poo

Monkey See, Monkey Poo

Another creation I am very proud of, this project required collaboration with multiple outside agencies to get all of the elements to work together harmoniously. One agency handled the illustration, another the logo, and a third the manufactured components. As this project gained more visibility, more feedback from higher levels within the company led to multiple redesigns and the last minute addition of the corner window. I was able to assemble something everyone was pleased with on time and under budget. I also got to direct the photoshoot for the promotional materials.

Ultima Platinum Design

Ultima Platinum Design

A new line of Ultra-Premium formulas based on an existing design but using Platinum to signify a step up from the established Gold line. These designs had to tie back to their predecessors while signifying an upgrade in quality. The challenge was in how to print ink on tin to read as platinum and not silver. I worked with several agencies until we got this just right.

Soggy Doggy

Soggy Doggy

This TOTY winning game experienced a drop off in sales a year after the award was given, and I was tasked with refreshing the package to boost those sales back to their previous numbers. I came up with a design that had a central swirl to the composition, something that would stand out in both a retail and a digital sales space. I worked closely with illustrators to create a compelling, action-centric piece of artwork, worked the game features into the graphic elements, highlighted the award badge and manipulated the existing logo so that this version would read as a refresh and not an entirely new game.

Organics Lines

Organics Lines

Working closely with the R and D, marketing, and sales teams, I oversaw the creation of organic variants of our existing product lines. I functioned as the central hub between all internal teams ands external vendors to create these designs, many of which required custom variations to comply with the needs of certain international markets.

Meteor Mayhem game

Meteor Mayhem game

This high-profile project presented numerous challenges but made it to market on time and under budget. In order to hit shelves before the release of the movie, I had to work with concept artists before a style guide was available, effectively designing around important elements including the game itself which was being designed in parallel with the package. Organizing the expectations of internal teams and the services of external vendors made this project a true victory when it was completed. The design challenge involved showcasing the dynamic action of the game while also highlighting a character who is the featured star of the film but not of the game itself. I handled the logo design in addition to overseeing the project.

Promama Maternal Formula

Promama Maternal Formula

An initiative was launched to create a maternal milk supplement for prenatal use. Many design iterations were created and proposed, but ultimately the design was dialed back to the recognizable, pre-established designs of the infant formula packages. This project required precise and direct communication with internal departments as well as overseas teams that created mockups on various substrates and utilizing new cost-saving printing techniques.

Joker Party Game

Joker Party Game

This game went though many iterations and changes to play style before it was completed. This was a case of the concept and shelf space being sold and then a game having to be created around that sale. There were countless changes to design and to packaging size before this final version was reached. My role in this project was to coordinate with licensing, product design team, marketing and sales to create the perfect item to sell the concept. DC allowed us to use the classic Joker image which really helped this item pop on shelf.
